Subject: A Personal Update – Taking Some Time Off

To my amazing clients:

I hope this message finds you well! I want to start by saying how deeply grateful I am for your trust, support and friendships throughout the last 9 years. Working with you has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I truly believe I have the best job in the world. You’ve given me the coolest experiences and opportunities, but most importantly, you gave me a place to be “me” and I’ve loved it so much.

After much thought, I’ve made the decision to take some time off from running a business for the next year or two. My current studio location (which I love) has been bought out and they will not be renewing my lease. This is so they can expand their restaurant, which makes sense. I took this as a sign that it’s okay for me to take a step back for a while. I’ve moved 3 times in the last 3 years and it’s quite a task to find a new place and set up all over again. This has been a hard decision, but I feel like this was the nudge I needed. It's important for me to be more present for my family and to take time to focus on my own well-being. It's not an easy step to take, but I know it’s the right one for me at this point in my life. I also know I’m going to regret it soooo much, but I owe it to myself to see what life is like without my phone/email/computer always lurking in the background, waiting for me.

Please know that I will always treasure + miss the memories we’ve created together and I am so thankful for each opportunity I’ve had to work with you. Getting to know you & your babies has undeniably been my favorite part of this whole thing! While I won't be booking new sessions during this time, I want you to know how much I appreciate your understanding and support as I focus on this next chapter.

Thank you again for everything. I’ll forever be grateful for our time together and I know our paths will cross again in the future, probably at safeway or kid acitvities! Love that about small towns :)
